Every year a friend of ours mom throws a Halloween Party for the kiddos. We went the first year Kayden was born, but last year we weren't able to go because we were out of town, so we were excited when it came around again this year. Kayden had a lot of fun playing with all the kids. He is really becoming very social and learning that he can go and play and be ok. We went through a phase where he stayed really close to me and Kyle, so, for him to be out and running around with the other kids is a lot of fun to watch.
At the Halloween party you take a pumpkin and get to carve it. This is Kayden's first experience with carving pumpkins. The last two years we just drew faces on them with a black sharpie and called it good, but this year we decided to actually carve it. And Kayden seemed to really enjoy it.
Mary and Dennis, the party hosts, really go all out with their decorations and fun kid games. We had to leave a bit early and weren't able to finish playing all the games, but there are fun prizes at the end for the winners and fun little goodie bags for everyone to take home. It is a lot of fun for all the kids.
Kayden really seems to enjoy watching everyone and was really proud of his pumpkin when it was finished. He carried it around and put it in line with all the other finished, carved pumpkins. It was cute.
Ok, so now for the pictures.
