Last Saturday we celebrated Jim and Kyle's birthdays with a BBQ and a good ol' game of horseshoes. Jim and Kyle had spent a good part of the prior week or two getting the horseshoe pits ready and I think it was some good fun by all. The boys pretty much stuck to playing while the girls stuck to chatting. And the kids did what they do best, play!
Christy made the cake, which was super cute. Kyle had skunked Jim at one of the games of horseshoes in the prior week so Christy went with that and made an adorable cake.

It was a small friend and family gathering to celebrate the boys' birthdays, but I think they enjoyed it nonetheless!
